Has Anyone Heard of this putter?

Gold's factory putters can be customized to fit every single persons needs.

Lie angle, loft, design, material used, finish etc.

 

I think these are great putters - and a long with a Byron Copper putter on top of my current putter wish list :D

 

I also do believe that Gold's factory is what still remains of the famous Japanese brand called G-Field (Gauge Design) which unfortunately went bankrupt a couple of months ago.

 

 

wasnt golds factory around before g-field was? i dont think sasaya had anything to do with g-field putters. i could be wrong though.

IIRC Gold's was around before Gfield because Gold's/Sasaya was "souping up" GD Japan putters at the time.

 

Someone correct me, but isn't that what Gold's putters are--souped up GDs. I wonder what will happen now that GD is gone.

Sorry. I just don't "see" it. I do like the bevel on the back edge of the sole though. Thoughtful.

 

this coming from a guy that putts with a del mar 3.5...even i can make a putter than isnt symmetrical :D

I must confess that I based my remark, that Gold's and G Field/Gauge were somehow connected on a rumour on the TourSpecGolf site - I think Chris once said to me, when I asked what had happned to the G Field brand, that the only thing left from Gauge Design/G Field was the Gold's Factory brand of putters - take it for what it is :)

 

I guess you can't access neither the G Field website nor the Gauge Design website because they just went bankrupt 2-3 months ago.

I never really liked the look of the G Field putters with the colourfull insert (option of black, green, red, white, yellow, blue etc.) - and I have to like what I put with, no matter if I don't actually see the cavity when standing over the ball - the same goes for all the golf gear in my bag.

 

The reason why I never really was into the Epon 460 driver - the sole was just not well designed.

The new Epon 3 wood design looks much better - I hope they will make a driver with the same sole design as in the new 3 wood - then I will buy it if the head can be made to sit square :D

No sorry, will not pay $850 for a driver I can not test and that has a sole I don't like to look at.

If I pay $800 for a driver it not only has to perform better than my current $699 TM SQ TP driver, it also has to look great - the sole looks kind of unfinihed on the Epon 460 technity driver - just my honest opinion.
