My favorite course anywhere. Makes Royal Aberdeen (which I played the day before) look like a pitch and putt.

Thats such a shame as you've completely missed the point of links golf which this Trump course is not. Don't ever play St Andrews, you'll hate it.

Over bunkered... Could remove 50% of those bunkers, make it more playable and easier on the eye. To say nothing about the cost of maintenance.

I 100% agree and link golf is supposed to be played different ways according to the wind and the angles etc.... did you notice that pretty much most the course you have to fly the ball to the hole as the bunkers are all in the front of the greens. You can't run a ball up on to the green! This is an American styled USGA spec course in dunes. Go play Cruden Bay all day and get £150 change from what you'd pay to play Whistling Trump. (Its what we called it)
