Erin Hills Tee Time

So it looks like a guys golf trip to Erin Hills is going to fall apart due to schedules. Tee time was for Sept 17th just after noon (foresome). I assume if you call the course now they will say they are booked, but i was going to see if anyone had interest in trying to take the tee time if i call to cancel and you called to book it 2 minutes later.

I just tried booking tee times there for August 25-28 and the place is completely booked.

I signed up as a single and played yesterday.

Honestly, at like 2:00 - 2:45 when I killed time on the putting green I only saw 2 people go off #1, both singles. I also saw a few guys go off that looked like employees. I would imagine if you wanted to you wouldn't have a problem getting out later in the day.

Day was nice yesterday. I hacked the place up. Shot about 14 strokes better my first trip around a couple months ago. With the exception of #9, I wish the par 3's were more memorable.

I signed up as a single and played yesterday.

Honestly, at like 2:00 - 2:45 when I killed time on the putting green I only saw 2 people go off #1, both singles. I also saw a few guys go off that looked like employees. I would imagine if you wanted to you wouldn't have a problem getting out later in the day.

I was out there in June, arrived on a Thursday afternoon around 3 and saw the same thing. No one teeing off later in the day, and not that many groups finishing up. All tee times before a certain time (I believe it's 1030 or 11) are reserved for guests staying on property whether the room is booked or not. Found this out when I was making my reservation, and those tee times can only be reserved by players not staying on property the night before if the times are still available.

Also agree on the par 3's. #9 is a good hole, but if you plopped me down on #13 and asked me to tell you where I was I'd say I was at a $25/round muni.

Also, I would love to play your muni's, although the par 3's are not spectacular, the golf course as a whole, sure is. IMO.

Could be, I was trying to book a tee time for 3 people when I originally called and they would only allow us to book a tee time for 2 because we had 2 single rooms reserved.
