Clarke has already hindered the European cause with his picks, selecting his buddies instead of form players. This is genuinely the worst European side I've ever seen assembled and it'll hopefully lead to a change in the European selection process.

Fair point actually, but I still see USA winning reasonably comfortably this time around. Perhaps not a rout, but certainly comfortably enough. Not because of Clarkes' picks or DLIII picks, it's not all about that. I just see the US team a little stronger all around. I'm not in the US, but looking from across the pond I just see the US team really up for this one.

 

Mind you, that prediction comes from somebody who has never picked the winner of any Major Championship in 36 years of being involved in this wonderful game. So my opinion is worth marginally less than bugger all. :taunt:

If Bubba ain't playing I'm seeing very little point in watching this Ryder Cup. Crap European team and captain plus no Bubba (yet) to cheer on. Love Bubba's approach to the game.

I have my reasons that are not for a public forum however I'm entitled to them none the less. Still wish Europe all the best however I see a Faldo style humping with too much reliance upon Westwood and co.

 

I actually see a "changing of the guard" at present with so many super young exciting American golfers emerging.
