Personally I would like the laser. The laser would allow me the option of finding the distances to carry bunkers or the end of doglegs.

Laser rangefinder would be best for me. I don't wear a watch so having the GPS on my wrist would be uncomfortable. I have been using an older rangefinder for the last couple rounds and it has helped my game tremendously.

Laser rangefinder please if I win, I have a GPS watch and don't wear it because I hate the feeling of anything on my wrists/hands while I'm playing. I'd like to try out a rangefinder rather than be at the mercy of yardage markers.

The rangefinder would definitely be most beneficial. My Leopold got its lens messed up when trying to clean it. The coating seemed to wipe right off. Needless to say, I need another one.

The GPS! It would force me to go to the middle of the green instead of aiming for flags that I have no business aiming at.

Today, I am actually using both. Each has a different usage. I would say that @ 175 yds and + the GPS is very good since it gives me a kind of window to aim for (front to back). Now, when I am closer from the flag, let's say 150 and less, I am trying to hit as closely as possible to the flag and the Range finder comes vey andy since it tags the flag and not the center of the green. I am using a very old range finder (first genration of Nikon, 9 years old). Today it is good enough but it would definitely need a replacement. The GPS watch was a present from my wife, so no way I can wear anything else that this one, at the moment.

As I've gotten older, mid-50's, I've started to lose distance with my irons and that coupled with typical age related vision challenges has lead to more and more missed greens. I have been looking at rage finders to help me get a grip on my new club distances in an effort to hit more greens. The Nexus laser range finder would be a big help to my game at this point in my life.

Definitely Rangefinder due to the fact that you can measure layup points that the GPS may not know how to measure.
