Golf Fundraiser Web-Based Sign-up Solution

First Time, Long Time!

 

A quick background, a very close friend of mine suffered a severe injury last fall resulting in his paralysis. He is now a T-7 and requires extensive therapy to regain some semblance of a normal life for him and his wife. He's an amazing guy and making amazing progress. However, as we all realize, the health care costs related to a spinal injury are quite substantial and a group of us have been raising money for him and his family since his injury.

 

Well, since I'm a Golf Ho and our group of friends spends as much time as life/wives/children will allow for golfing, I've taken it upon myself to organize a Golf Outing to help raise some money. I've been involved in setting up and running golf outings and golf trips for a few years now, and I'm interested in using a web-based sign-up tool to help streamline the sign-up process (golfers, diners, sponsors), accept online payment (CC/PayPal/Cash app/Etc.), allow for people to make one-off donations of money or prizes to be auctioned off at the event itself, and some basic accounting functionality (money raised, foursomes allocated for, single golfers, people only dining, etc.). So me being the 21st century noob that I am, googled "online golf fundraiser sign-up" and found that there are dozens of options out there. I was hoping that some of my brothers and sisters-in-arms on WRX may have some experience in using any of these products and would not mind giving me some advice/suggestions/information on what product would be best for my Outing. To reiterate, I am not planning the 2017 US Open, or a gigantic corporate event, just a simple Outing at a local public course. Cost obviously will be a factor, as well as ease of use. If there is a review out there available on any of the golf websites that would be helpful, passing along the URL would be most helpful. Thank you in advance for any help that any of you can provide.
