I really like your bags set-up. I would like to mimic it but my concern is I carry eleven irons. I wonder how the bag would accommodate them.

I'll take a pic when I get home, but the top where the woods go has a 3 divider section and also another section for my driver.

 

What happens when you lay these bags down in your trunk with the clubs sticking out the sides?

They stay in the slots for the most part, occasionally one or two will come out of the slot just a tad. Nothing bad at all

Well I decided to go with the 2016 qo-14 in white/lime got it at golfio for $240 a bit pricey but hopefully worth its weight!

They don't stay in the slots very well when the bag is laying horizontally. In transport it essentially behaves like any other bag. That's why I do the unthinkable... Use iron covers (but only during transport).

 

I have the QO 14 lite, not sure if the QO 9 behaves differently.

In my bag the LQO-9, when laid down in back of car/trunk I have 2-3 irons that will come out of the slot (top end) and just rest on the iron below it. No "banging" around just sits on the other.
