Lahinch help

Family is taking a trip to Ireland in the beginning of July. Dad already hooked up a round at the K Club, but I want to experience some links while we're there as well. I think we are going to stay in Cork one night, next day do the Ring of Kerry and Cliffs of Moher on the way to Galway. I love nature, and I know Ireland is beautiful, but I think I would get more enjoyment (or frustration) out of a round at Lahinch while the family is doing the Cliffs of Moher. I know they are close in proximity, but does the timing for both work out? I am just trying to make sure I don't put my family out and hold up the vacation so I can play 18 holes at a great golf course.

 

After reviewing the topics on Ireland on the board, I know ya'll are much more knowledgeable. So, I figured I would come to the experts. Thanks for any help and advice.

Easy... have them drop you off on their way to the Cliffs... whoever finishes first can enjoy a sandwich and some pints in the course restaurant ....
