Best Darn Blade Putter Cover

AM&E fits the best!

I know it's been asked a ton of times and this cover has been recommended a few times With all the blade putters I have, you would think that I had tried them before but I never did.

I got these in the mail the other day....AM&E Gwrx blade putter cover with my pitbull on it. It fits really well on my Napa and Betti SB-3. Really snug and I can't see it falling off as easily as the stock Napa or Betti cover.

Toby, is that the white one with the snap? If so, it's the one that came with my SB-3 and the reason I was hunting for a new cover. While I was a big fan of the old with the velcro that came with my BB-2 and even used it on my Napa's, this new once constantly fell off on me throughout a round. I don't know if it's because my Japan bags are smaller around the top but most of the time I'd just pull off the cover at the start of the round because I hated backtracking to find it. The only cover that stayed on well prior to this AM&E is my Burberry cover with a snap. I think it stayed on better then the White Betti because it's stiffer and doesnt get pushed off by the throat of my bag.

Thanks for the link Toby. WOW..that was an old original post. Anyways..the SB-3 cover is a whole lot different. Snap in the front and hardly as form fitting or long in the neck as your blue Betti. I'll try and get a pic of it up later.

Yup pretty old. I couldn't find the pics in my laptop anymore. Will wait for the pics of the newer cover.

Stuck in bed today with a bad head cold. I had a decent round as well going yesterday until the headache just came up on the 11th. "New" pre-owned driver and putter were working well yesterday. Honma TW 460 and a X Rossa, I picked up in trades over at PG.

Look for the Bettinardi headcovers with the longer, thinner necks. The short ones designed for Anser style putters will fall off.

I'm amazed someone hasn't come up with a magnetic closure system like the R7 headcovers. Since the majority of putters are steel shafted, the magnetic strip will hold the cover against the shaft, keeping it from falling off. This would work with DASS or copper putters as well since the shaft is carbon steel.
