why would i be kidding its just a putter i have fun with mine man and i like trying new stampings the crown was just an after thought honestly i just like snow on the flange if i cant see it at address i dont really care whats on it. but for those who couldnt tell its a circa number one

Thanks for the gramar lesson. I believe the word would acutally be spelled shoddy. And sorry I used up all the periods doing the snow. I could have also used schiesty (I believe which would be sneaky underhanded). None of which I am interested in doing.

Nothing wrong with making a bog standard putter more interesting. It might be prudent to stamp "Stamped by __" and your initials to prevent possible misrepresentation by unscrupulous future owners.

Well...it's not my cup of tea and can't imagine doing that to that putter, but it's your putter and if you like it then thats what matters, not if a bunch of people across the internet think.

Ok lets see for one no newbie please dont ever say that again. This isnt the first stamping I have done. Due to some problems with an old name i have since changed it but this is by far not my first stamping now the first posted on here. And im probably not gonna put stamped by ........... on it but thats my choice. And just to throw some more fuel to the fire, I could be the next scopy cameron. I mean hell if i wanted to do that putter justice i should have sent tp mills 300 when i bought it and stamped that on there. And mine is by far one of the most mundane putters. If i remember correct Dakota had a block oxide centershaft welded neck that was after market. did it say welded by blah blah blah. Nope. So on that note have a nice day.

 

P.S. some of us aren't trying to make a quick buck scamming but I will be damned if i will pay a semesters tuition to play a hand stamp.

The paint fill is re done looks alot better now snow stands out much more. I may change the crown to yellow it doesnt stand out enough the stamps are deep but i didnt get very good fill last go round i also wanted it dry quick to play with this after noon so little paint was used i will post new pics. If you dont like them well sorry. by the way this will be on ebay tommrorow i am gonna make a fortune.

i like it. i actually have been thinking a lot about doing the same thing to a #1 with the snow. I understand it's not to make an extra buck on ebay, it's just because it looks good to our personal preferences. Thanks for posting pics!

snow=ok.

 

crown=not ok. Trademarked. Especially since it signifies a certain added value to the putter.

 

If you want a Scotty crown send it to the custom shop, they will probably refuse. SC came up with the concept and trademarked it. I don't like it either, but that is why the crowns have an appeal and a $$$ image.

 

I have a set of CG1s with a T stamp on the back, I could easily put the same on a set of retails or even on my RAC CBs even without the thought of reselling them but the T on the backs of those irons mean something by putting a T it changes the "nature" of the club.

 

I personally don't like the SC stamps and stampings in general. Lately I haven't been fan of Camerons either, but that's another story.

 

Want to have nice stampings on your Cameron, be creative with your own stamps/ideas. That would be way cooler.

 

People do put too much seriousness in things like these, but that is just a way of life. Some guys take it out on jaywalkers, some guys take it out on guys who get stamp happy.
