1998 is when the FX Nickels were released. They appear to have stuck around in 1999, but the TG-898s were also produced starting in 1999, I believe.

Lofts are, for 2-PW: 18/21/24/27/31/35/39/43/47. Lies were based on a 60° or 61° 5 iron, such as I remember, but you will probably want to make them fit you. The club lengths were based on a 38" 5 iron, with a 1/2" up and down from there for each club. The PW was indeed 1/2" shorter than the 9 iron, unlike many sets now.

Gamed Tour Grinds for over 30 years. I had a couple of those Ni sets. They were ok.

 

Actually I was/am not a fan of anything other than what said Golden Ram on the back (got a couple-three gamer sets lying around somewhere). The original Fx when Price was playing them were ok.

I played Golden Rams for a number of years and think back on them with fond memories. They had the FCM 6.5 shafts which with hindsight were probably a bit too much for me but I liked them none the less.

 

Thing I loved about them was that when in between clubs I chose the shorter and just swung harder and the ball would always get there.
