Phil Mickelson's review

Looking for some reviews. The buzz is intensifying . I simply cant take it. :lol:

I saw in the golf digest that Phil Mickelson has one in play. He says...

"Callaway Fusion FT# 9.5 degrees of loft, Graphite Design PM 702 shaft. The ability to move the weight internally is an advantage. Of the 5 basic lateral center of gravity locations on this driver, I'm dialing in at 3.7."

"I guess they can move as precisely .02". He also says he can feel the difference in the club as its coming into impact on the downswing."

Any more reviews?

The club head is very responsive compared to other callaway heads.

I thought the FT-2 had a more hollow sound than the 3 and just wasn't quite right. I will have a FT-3 set up for my swing as soon as possible.

Dont know when. One of our members has an insider contact and said they were still deciding how to market the different center of gravity options.

How and if to offer the options.

Callaway is gonna make a lot of $$$ off this driver and mine included. Reliable sources say early August, but I just want mine already :lol:

I'm looking forward to having one of these myself.

I kind of think they should stay with the labeling of draw, neutral, or fade. I think most people know what they need.

It would be nice if they offered an option (for those who wanted it) of customizing the weight locations as Phil's was done.

So if you get a "draw" head, is it possible to make tweeks to move the weighting around or whats the story?

I guess I don''t quite get how its an advantage unless they are movable to some degree... anyone explain?

Nice post looks interesting probably going to retail for lots of $$$. I'm sure Callaway was scrambling to get this out sooner than July 4 for those whose season starts in the spring(April/May)

The Fusion FT-3 and the ERC Hot are similar but not the same, I'm hitting the Hot with Tourspec rombax now @ 9* its very long but sits awkward with a larger appearance from above. Not as forgiving as the R5TP or R7XR but longer . Almost as long as the X-Drive when hit on the screws.

How much will the Production ones cost? any ideas? In golf magazine they say you can get a Tour Model, I can get a Nationwide Tour one this week, if I want. How much do you think the Tour will be through Cally, or how much would you pay for one now. Please help me on this one. Thanks.

I forgot to mention that the feel and sound off the face is not what many are used to, similar to the fusion but louder and more apparent. Very different and the club is deep!
