Weird problem, but I need help!

THIS IS NOT A JOKE!

I hit the ball 20-30 yards longer in my trainers (DC's- Very comfortable and fit loosely)

than I do in my golf shoes(Etonic G-soks)

I also pure my irons and give myself great chances of birdies etc.. and just generally shoot lower rounds?

What shall I do?

Just deal with it?

I really do want to find out whats the problem,

Not questioning your health. But some people's feet just dont adapt well to golf shoes. I have a friend in a town that I know longer live in. And he wears regular walking pair of tennis shoes. He has been anywhere from +2 to -4 handicap. I played with him one time that he was using a stand up putter. Ugly if anyone remembers. He shot 63. Low scores are what counts in my book. Not how you look. Well Taking a bath pretty often might help. LOL LOL If you are talking about DC skateboard shoes. Then my son has convinced me. They are really a comfortable pair of shoes. I had to trash the long shoe strings though.

Yep, skateboarding shoes, Red laces :tongue: I know what you mean but, I can't wear anything but golf shoes on my course, I do it the odd time anyway but I can't in competition, It's really annoying

May be in your head, maybe not. Can you remove the cushioned soles from your DC's? If so, take them out and put them in your golf shoes. The comfort factor may be providing you more balance and you are just hitting it more pure. My .02 worth.

Are your shoes the same height? If you're standing significantly higher or lower then that might affect your swing.

My trainer just got back from TPI and was saying they are finding the shoes are very important. I wouldn't be so quick to just dismiss it.

I don't wear golf shoes. . .had some, never really seemed to help, and were never as confortable as my sneaks. I played with a guy the other day who was wearing crocs. he out-drove and out-scored me.
