Has anybody played here and, if so, which courses? I would be interested in reviews or comments , including any comments about the condition of the course.

Havent played in a few months. The Bridges is a beautiful track with Bentgrass greens. You dont get that often down here. Its usually a struggle keeping them cool. The lakes is not bent but is also a great track.

I played there last a few months ago. Nothing unique but well kept and fun. Weekends are a beating, they cram as many times as they can, had a 5 hr round.

When I lived in the area I would play the Lakes and the Bridges from time to time. If you don't get off within the first hour on the weekend it's an absolute beating. 5 hours is guaranteed. Old Course is ok, worst condition of the 3 but also the cheapest. Lakes is solid, good shape, tough back 9. Bridges has three 9's, one of which was originally the back 9 of the Lakes course. Bent grass greens as noted so give them a few weeks and they'll probably be pretty nice through next May.

Played the Old Course 18 for the first time yesterday. Decent enough shape, liked the routing. Got around in 4.5 hours. I would avoid on the weekends, though. The UT-Oklahoma game helped reduce the number of players.

I played Lakes over the summer. 99° temp and 5 hour round..nice track though. Might play Bridges soon

Grew up playing there but haven't played there in maybe a decade but they screwed up the lakes course. A bunch of the holes they turned into one of the nines of the bridges courses which I think has 27 holes and was a good track. The lakes was really good before the renovation. Liked the old course a lot back in the day but maybe have messed it up too when they added in some houses off number ten to the right. Can't remember if off the other side of the houses they turned a par 4 into a par 3 or not. Generally like them though but haven't played there in forever.

#10 on the Old was definitely screwed up with the houses off to the right. That hole sets up for a draw done the right side but with the houses you don't want to aim that way in the event your shot doesn't draw!

 

The Lake hole on the back that is now a par 3 is 15, they really messed that one up. The front 9 is really good on the Lakes but the back just is awful, no relationship between the 2 "9"s anymore.

I was a member there for several years before moving back to KY. Great course, great memories.

I play the FGA tournaments there every other week, between the Bridges, Lakes and the Old Course. Lakes been one of my favorites.

Bridges and Lakes are always nice to play.

 

Don't bother playing the Old Course.
