Project X 7.0 vs DG X7

I’m not hitting the PX 7.0 much lower than anything else I’ve hit (C Taper 130x, DG X100) but it has less spin and is a better flight even though it’s still pretty high on a normal full swing.

I have a lot of speed for whatever reason, I swing a 6 iron about 108mph plus or minus. But I can hit these flatter into the wind and with less spin which was the difference maker for me.

What ss you need to use PX 7.0 ? I currently use PX LZ 6.5 with mizuno MP-5 super high would 7.0 reduce the height?

Without seeing your swing or ball flight it would be hard to make a recommendation, but based of what i have gleaned from fitters:

Avg 6i swing speed

90mph = 6.5

95mph = 7.0

Don't forget tempo too, for a moderate tempo I'd lean on a 6.5 vs 7.0 (w/ 7.0 being a better fit for quicker transitions), best thing to do is get fit especially with the cost of these things. I prefer to do 18 and then get fit immediately- bad habits on full display then, warmed up and more of what my normal swing speed will be during a round vs a fresh swing.

That being said I had the exact same set up through a mistake from mizuno and they spun like crazy and dispersion was awful. Moving to the regular project x6.5s brought down spin and launch, the 7.0s even more so. Can't over look the fact that a properly fit shaft and if you are hitting a draw the flight will be lower than if you are hitting fades- maybe.

I'm using 6.5's for now because I got uncut 3-pw for SUPER cheap

The Project X 7.0 have a great feeling and about the same flight of the Project X 6.5
