Williamsburg, VA - Golden Horseshoe in wet conditions

I'll be down in Williamsburg for work early next week and the forecast looks to be wet. Anyone familiar with either of their courses know how it drains? Is it playable? I only have a short window to play so will likely keep it casual and do the Spotswood course to keep it casual (while scratching the itch) if that helps. Thanks!

Looks like only 0.25" rain late Monday. I'd imagine during the reno they squashed any prior drainage issues. That little rain on dormant bermuda should be very playable.

Edit to add-played it until I had blisters on my hands then moved to TN after 29 years. Fantastic track. Colonial Williamsburg was a bike ride away when I grew up there.

Thanks! The weather keeps changing on me but wanted to just get a sense of the potential conditions to lay some expectations out for myself.

Both courses have rolling terrain so I would guess they would drain fast.

Have played both Green and Gold courses many times. I don't think you'll have too much of a problem with a little rain. The Green course probably drains a bit better, but the Gold course... is the Gold course :smile:
