Recommendations near Grange Castle, Ireland

Staying a week near Grange Castle for work: Any recommendations for public courses that provide club rentals? Price isn’t really a concern, just looking to experience some Irish golf. Thanks!

They will drop them off at your hotel and they will be waiting for you. They will meet you to return them.

 

It is not worth renting from the course as most courses will have crappy, beat up 20yr old junk for a crazy price.

You won't have trouble getting on any courses. Recco: Carton House for sure; KClub is close; Naas Golf Club or Citywest are ok. But if you are there, try playing Baltray at minimum ; then try for the Island as well.

Thanks for the tips. The Island was the first place I looked into and it’s booked solid. I’ll check out Baltray.

Carton House was a fantastic recommendation, just wanted to say thanks. It was the only place we could get on with short notice, but for the price it was an incredible experience. We walked the Montgomerie course and played until sunset, very beautiful.

Thanks for the update. Carton House is on my list for the next time I make it over that way.
