Gently getting back into golf in Melbourne.

I have my 13 yo son to thank for his new and my rediscovered passion.

I was a club member on the Melbourne peninsula at The Dunes and purchased my clubs through Henry Cussel at The National before 2000.

Henry moved on and so did I and started playing guitar in bands.

Recently bought my son a second hand set of Ping ISI K irons (black dot) the same as mine.

NEW TECHNOLOGY: My mind is blown. Before 2000 Balata golf balls were the rage if you could afford them and Big Bertha's were everywhere.

I recently tried a Ping G410 driver and am amazed at the developments since I last played.

In those days I hit my 3 wood off the tee as I found it far more accurate and consistent for distance.

I still enjoy hitting my Ping irons which now seem like an antique but of course think that I should upgrade and take advantage of the technology.
