It doesn't matter who she is even Dad's who have kids that are good will exaggerate how far they drive. Very Very few girls have anything that long and a short game to match. The ones that do are already in the LPGA and have made a lot money.

 

Most of the high level juniors and amateur women I have seen have great short games but they lack the distance to turn pro. Most the girls with a good long drive lack a good short game. Some are long but couldn't hit a fairway if there life depended on it. If the dad truly is a dad of a high level pro he would know already what his daughter lacks and you would see her focusing on that part of her game which was probably subpar.. She almost certainly does not have both at a high level play.

Read my original post again. She does practice the short game and (I have to be honest) I was more impressed with that aspect. But, all the people get their panties in a bind about distance and just blather endlessly without reading what is actually posted. I appreciate your input, though. It's enlightening. Her dad and I were standing about 8 feet from a hole on the practice green while she was pitching balls from the rough from 30 paces away to it. I was nervous at first and watched the balls with one eye while he and I chatted. All but 1 ended up 2' from the hole, out of several balls. Never seen anything like it...
