Connecting Flightscope xi tour vs app to projector

I am trying to connect my non mhl supported Samsung tablet (means i cant hardwire it )to a projector (HDMI and many other ports available if needed) to project the Flightscope apps from my Xi Tour.

A couple of guys on another site suggested a Chromecast but I don't think I can use anything that runs on WiFi as I need it to connect the tablet to the xi tour.

Any suggestions?

Sorry, but the only way I know of is either via wi-fi, mhl, or a direct hdmi output if the tablet has it. And pretty sure you are correct that you can't use wi-fi for both the flightscope and the video out.

The only other option to project the flightscope results that I'm aware of would be through the PC software and a computer instead of using the tablet.

Thanks for the reply. Those are the same conclusions that I came to.Another thing I am trying to find out about is a Bluetooth/hdmi receiver That I can plug into the projector

For others in the same boat, this is how I did it.

First off I need to use a cable connection as Chromecast needs an internet connection,not just a wifi connection ,so you can't connect it to the Flightscope WiFi.

I needed to hunt down an old tablet that had mhl technology(made up until 2014) AND ran at least Android 6.0 to be able to cable it.Then I had to hunt down the mhl converter AND 5 pin to 11 pin adapter, which was even more difficult. I finally found it at a clearance place about an hour drive from my house for $7.

I bought 4.

This makes it a simple plug and play operation .

I have heard it's really easy with any iPad and lighting av cable .Just plug in and go.

IF YOU ARE TRYING TO DO THIS WITH AN ANDROID SAVE YOURSELF LOTS OF GRIEF AND JUST BUY AN IPAD.

Pretty sure you can use a Roku for the wireless interface. It works just like an Apple TV mirror mode setup. I tinkered around with it a few years back. The Android tablets will do 16x9 unlike the iPad. I ended up scrapping the project due to the Android app was very unstable. But, I did get it to wirelessly connect to the projector.
