Cobra big tour 3: anyone tried it?

I got to hit the Cobra Big Tour 3 in the standard X shaft yesterday and was very impressed, off the tee it is a real bomber and was probably only about 20 yards behind my Cobra Speedzone driver in distance, in terms of accuracy it had much much tighter dispersion than my driver but wider than my current 3 wood, surprisingly it was easy to launch off the deck but the courses that I play are pretty short so it would be used predominately off the tee and on a short drivable par 4.

Although the spin was pretty low the ball flight was surprisingly high and much closer to that of my driver whereas I usually like to hit low power fades off the tee with my fairway woods for optimum accuracy, I have played all my 3 or 4 woods at 42" in recent years so I am very tempted to buy this club and experiment with it by lofting it down to 12 degrees and to fit a heavier low launch and low spin shaft such as the UST mamiya Elements Platinum 8F5 at 42", hopefully that would prove to be the ultimate fairway finding bomber off the tee.

So has anyone lofted this club down to either 12 or 12.5 degrees and if so does this open the club face and make the club more fade biased?

I'm playing at 12.5* in upright setting and hit slight fades to straight.
