DiGiFade 2020 WITB (Full Bag Fitting - Cobra, Callaway, Titleist)

Hello everyone!

New member. First post. I've really enjoyed checking out everyone's setups the last six months or so and decided to join in the fun. I've played for over 10 years but have always used a hodgepodge of new/used non-fitted clubs. Finally got a full bag fit at my local Club Champion and I'm loving the results so far! Only carry over from my former bag is 2 wedges and putter. Ended up not purchasing through CC. Took their data and pieced everything together online for half the cost. Thank you to Cobra and Callaway for a generous military discount!

Little baseline on me as a player...36yo, 10 handicap, 105mph driver swing speed. Goal is to get into single digits this year. Made some small changes to my grip and backswing this winter and have scored in the high 70's fairly consistently recently. Need to keep the momentum going as my local courses round into shape this spring!

Driver - Cobra F9, 9.5, Tensei Blue AV Series 65g Stiff, 44.5"

3WD - Cobra F9, 14.5, Same shaft as driver, .5" short

4H - Cobra F9, UST Recoil ES 85g Stiff

5-PW - Callaway APEX-19 Forged, KBS C-Taper Lite 110g, .5" short

Wedges (48,52,56,60) - Titleist Vokey SM6/7

Putter - Odyssey O-Works 7S, SuperStroke Pistol GT 2.0

Good looking set. What did you think of the Club Champion fitting? May be getting one for my birthday, and have read mixed reviews of the experience.

Welcome. I am seriously considering that Odyssey Black O Works 7s. How do you like it and does it look bulky at address? Nice clubs BTW.

My experience was great. Granted, I don’t have another fitting to compare it to. He was very thorough, tested everything I came into the session wanting to try plus several of his own suggestions. Tried every conceivable shaft combo once we got heads narrowed down. No pressure to buy and I never really planned on it to be honest. Like I said, sourced everything myself online for half the price.

Thanks! I was looking at doing the same as you. Get the fitting, and then put it together on my own. Nice to know they didn’t pressure you to buy.

Thanks. I very much enjoy my 7s. First insert putter I’ve owned and I love the soft feel off the face and overall weight/balance. I don’t find it bulky at address, and I come from years of blade style putters.

Had to look up the specs on the Apex irons because my first thought was "5 wedges?!" but then saw the PW is 43*. Gotta love the strong loft trend. Nice looking set!
