Why is everyone still on me about selling those clubs?!!??!?

I don't think it is fair at all how everyone is treating me, especially when it has completely nothing to do with the topic.

It is sad to hear that. I hate to lose too. But it's golf and its going to happen. If you want to get mad at yourself, fine. But have some class ( don't toss clubs) and show your playing partner some respect. Man up and take your shot of humility. Maybe he learned something from you that day. Well done.

Precisely. You didn't mention his name here when you typed your story. I'm also suggesting you also never talk about it at the club, or say anything to friends, relatives, or acquaintances who frequent the club or who may come into contact with the pro.

Your discretion may be a good example to him. If not, his own behavior will be his downfall if he continues to act that way.

I agree and disagree with the statement above.

I don't think your experience should be a conversation starter but if someone asks you about this particular Pro I never recommend hiding the truth. I wouldn't go into details but if this pro didn't want to be perceived this way he shouldn't have displayed those behaviors.

It's one thing to be the bigger person but its a completely other thing to hide the truth.

And if your words get back to the Professional he should take some responsibility for his actions.

But who knows maybe this was a one-time incident of tomah-hawking golf clubs across the course at carts on more then one occasion.

yeah, because using the all caps imperative with triple exclamations points is how you win friends and influence people. you're a smart lad, 4.3 gpa and lots of friends if i remember correctly, so answer me this; when you chronicle your life on the internet, are you subject to scrutiny? i vote yes. looks to me that you can't make a trip to golfsmith, buy a new pair of shoes, or even get your drivers license without making a spectacle of yourself.

and i know you're not against bashing, you started a bash thread on mark rolfing, bobby clampett, local pro, and then have the nads to start a thread on how you are tired of people having rants. do you expect to be held to a lower standard? on top of that, you've started multiple threads about your dream of going on tour (even asking for a bulleted step-by-step ). so in keeping with the spirit of your post:
