Bushnell XE eyecup coming loose?

Has anyone ever experienced this? The glue holding it in place seems to not be dry and if I'm not careful putting in/taking it out of the case I can jostle it and it seems to come loose. I have to squish it into place.

I don't want to glue it myself and am probably going to just return it. Does the V5 have this issue as well?

Changed XI to XE in the topic...not sure how that happened.

But, I returned it and got the v5. Shrug.

I have the same problem. I've had to purchase 2 of these already to replace the ones that have fallen off. For a $500 rangefinder, you would think they could design a rubber piece that doesn't fall off all the time. Mine was constantly falling off until it fell off and I didn't notice and had to replace. I called customer service and sent them a copy of the original receipt, pictures of the rangefinder and the original box and packaging as I've only had it about a year or so. They wanted me to send it in to them to see if it is flawed. I wouldn't have it back for weeks. Sorry, but I paid for this thing to use. They should send a pack of 5 of the rubber rings and some glue of some kind. Maybe give instructions on how to glue it.
