Steelfiber black label authenticity?

So....

 

I recently bought a new raw length steelfiber black label i110 from an authorized dealer.

As I unpacked, very 1st thing caught my eyes was golden ‘Made in China’ sticker.

Long story short, I own another set with same shaft which were one time pulled which I bought from reputable seller.

 

There are noticible differences in color, font size, sharpness of lettering in general.

 

Left: new (made in china sticker) thicker black label font slightly faded black background. Shaded font. Yellowish gray bg none label area

 

Right: one time pulled. Clear and sharper font. Darker black back ground. Gray bg none label area

Also, cut to exact same spec, the one with china label is showing lettering about 1 inch above the other one.

 

I sent email to aerotech to confirm this but no answer yet.

Would anyone know whether or not, I have authentic version?

Weigh the shaft for a start

Would be an odd one to fake, IMO, given its scarcity.  But then again, maybe a reason to fake??  

 

I built a set of these and since they are parallel tip, I ended up trimming a bit off the tip to adjust flex.  If the right one is a pull, they may have trimmed it.

FWIW, I ordered a new set of Steelfiber i95s recently and the shaft graphics are higher (like your pic) on the new set of shafts vs my older set of SF shafts. This specific difference does not mean they are fakes.

I’ve seen similar fading color graphics on the tour AD fakes so triggered a thought and can’t get it out of my head just yet.

Shaft feels and performs similar to each other on the simulator though.

Highly unlikely that it is fake... another way to check would be balance point...if it was an older i110 with faked grapnics it would have a higher balance point than the black label version....
