G425 Hybrids, which shaft made it perfect for you?

Just curious which shaft all of you are playing in your g425 hybrids?  I have a 3h & 4h both with tensei orange pro, neither of which is giving me the flight or distance that I'm looking for.

This week I will be playing around with my other hybrid shafts (white tie, vs proto, rogue max, rip Phenom) to see if any of them fair better, but always up for suggestions if you have found that perfect pairing!

I’m in the middle of a similar concern however, not exactly similar. I have (2) G400 Hybrids with Rogue Silver Stiff shafts. Other than the lack of adjustability, I feel like the shafts aren’t stiff enough. Thinking of switching to Tensei Pro Whites and the G410 (I like the look of the head). 
 

I use a tipped OG Ahina in my driver and I got along with an x flex rogue black in my 915h.

That was an unexpected answer!   Have you had that from the get go, or did you have one of the standard offerings initially?  What changes did you see switching to that shaft?

I don’t have the G425, but do have the G410s.

 

I’m a died in the wool shaft ho and have Ventus HB shafts in my other hybrids.

 

But for reasons too hard to explain I have a G425 Alta CB stiff 4 hybrid shaft in my G410 3 hybrid.

 

In combination with the flat hosel setting it does exactly what I want.

Haha that's interesting, I considered just ordering with alta shaft, but being a shaft hoe I couldn't pass up a more premium shaft in the tensei orange.

I am very intrigued by the Ventus shafts, I may order a ventus blue just to see what all the hype is about, although I usually don't get along with "blue" profiles for smooth swingers, as I are not one lol, I'm a hard puller, agressive transition I believe is the proper term.

Had the stock Alta, and was hooking everything, I play neutral flat. A friend lent me the ventus blue and I couldn't get comfortable with it. I felt i had to muscle it too much. I'm not a long hitter, and I play KBS Tour in my irons (Ping 210). Those shafts give me a sweet spot of distance and accuracy. Frustrated, I asked my club pro, had a lesson and he suggested I try the KBS hybrid shaft. It's also at a price point I could swallow. Played a few rounds and smooth swings opened up a whole new world for me. It's now my 190 yard club (never been there with a hybrid), which has allowed me to ditch my 5 wood and go back to 3 wood. Love the shaft, as it feels just like an extension of my irons.

That's awesome!  Well I just picked up a ventus blue velacore, to add to my list so now I have 4 or 5 legit shafts to fit into.  If none of those work, I'll have to find time for a fitting.

So I know it's been a while now, but I finally got out to the range and a round of 18 shortly after, and HANDS DOWN the Ventus Blue is not only the best match for my g425 3h, it's easily the best feeling shaft I have ever used in any hybrid!  The kick on this shaft is so consistent and predictable!  I will now be looking for another for my g425 4h.

Yep. I've just finished experimenting with the Ventus Blue driver shaft which hasn't worked out.

 

But I love the Ventus Blue HB in my Epic Flash hybrids.

 

I haven't tried it in my G410 since the stock Alta works so well, but the Ventus HB is the best hybrid shaft I've tried since the classic Matrix Altus.

 

Wonky swings aside, I just have complete confidence in it.

The more I play these, the more I love them…3, 4 and 5h.   But the stock Alta CB Stiff launches too high for me, and I’d like to really dial them in.

 

Ventus Blue (I play Red 5S in my Cobra Driver)

 

KBS Hyb (Tour Hybrid Prototype?)

I’ve heard good things about the Vista Pro, but it’s listed as Mid/High.  Can’t beat the price 

 

Any other suggestions?

The Ping Tour shaft?
