Is Shot Scope the best on the market?

Having used shot Scope for a while now. I’m interested to know what other range finders/GPS watches people use out on the course. I find the features on SS really good, customer service is spot on & they get back to you quickly and love the stats on the app. 
interested to hear everyone’s feedback on other brands.

I think everyone will have their own opinion about what is the "best". I really like Shot Scope and have been using it since the V3 became available. It was  a little lacking in the stats department at first with no "Shots Gained" functionality but that has changed. I find it unobtrusive during play and use it mostly for shot tracking, not so much for distances (I have a laser rangefinder for that). If one recognizes the causes for potentially missing or adding shots and handles the clubs accordingly I have found it very accurate tracking shots.

 

There have been improvements made and features added along the way and I believe they are redesigning the web dashboard, planned to be completed by the end of the year. One of the best things about Shot Scope is that it is a one time purchase with no subscription fees. Customer service is the quickest, most responsive customer service group I've ever dealt with.

 

Best or not it does everything I'm looking for at a reasonable cost.

I'm very pleased with my Shotscope v3. 5 rounds in so far. No complaints.

Previously used Garmin S62. That will be for sale this spring as the v3 beats it for tracking shots and providing meaningful data.

 

There are still many things missing from the Shotscope dashboard, so I'm curious how you know they are doing a redesign.

I contacted Support about an issue with the Dashboard. When viewing a round in the "Holes" mode, the average score shown for the hole is incorrect. For example. my 1st hole is a par 4 and I am shown with an average score of 2.57! They emailed back:

 

"Our tech team are in the middle of revamping the whole desktop site so this should be fixed in that overhaul. That should be done by the end of the year."

Personally @ParItOut, I used my Garmin Approach S2 for a long time before I made the switch to the Shotscope, So basically I have a pair of watches that have helped a lot. 

 

As regards to Shotscope its a phenomenal piece of technology and would say they are the leaders and miles ahead of Arcoss and now the reborn Game Golf which I used to use happily till their troubles.  I'm in agreement with @phil75070 they are the best for assistance and the customer service is outstanding and can't wait to see what they come out with next. roll on 2022 ^_^ good golf
