Miura KM3 putter

AS someone who loves flow neck putters and appreciate the feel and quality of Miura products this putter has caught my attention.  Anyone have thoughts on this one?

They literally just announced it last week. 

 

It's nice but for that price you can get a much nicer custom from so many guys. I don't think this line of Miura putters will be a hit cause of that.

Yeeeep.  Not a chance in hell I’m dropping a grand on a mass made off the shelf offering JDM or not.

I’m a big fan of it. If it was around $600 I’d probably buy but $1,000 is a little steep for me

Yup if they were priced like their last line they would all be way more popular but these are just window shopping putters for most guys.

They wouldn't sell any or very few at that price anyways. I know lefties say they miss out a lot but they're also super cheap when stuff is available.

I look at what I paid for a very similar Byron build several years ago and $1000 doesn't seem that far off if it's as good or better feeling putter.  Byron charged $550 for the 89 +$100 for the rincon neck and I think +$100 for the softening, so I had at least $750 in it.

I totally agree with the above statements and know we can get better putters by custom route that exceed these.  The experience I had with David Mills or Lamont Mann was great every time.  Lots of value had especially when I see a OTR CNC milled putter for over$600. 

 

When I got a my set of Miura irons/wedges, I definitely considered a putter.  Not lots of lefty options especially for flow neck putters (anywhere for that matter) and plumber necks anser are as common as sharks on TicTok!  A KM 008 in LH would be my choice.  I believe they did a run of 5 left handed KM008 and the one I seen for sale was $5K.  It was said that Mr. Miura himself handmade them.
