Yeah did 0.5". Had an untipped one before on another club and felt a little unstable at times especially off turf. So far seems more stable without losing the feel.

Awesome, same here. I had an untipped blue TR 7x in it and could not control it at all. Same with the Tour Chrome 2.0 which I want to love, but I can over cook it at times when I get quick off the tee- I love it off the turf.

 

So I tried a Ventus blue 7x tipped 1” and it’s been much better…
 

I need to try a TR tipped or give the Tour Black 2.0 a run for the final decision. 
 

Love the LST 3w head though, it helps my aforementioned overcooking / overspinning of those 3w tee shots which I have a lot of at my home course.

Same with the untipped version. Could launch it, but the consistency just wasn't there.

 

I actually got mine with an extra 0.5", that way if I needed to tip it another 0.5" can cut it down pretty easily. But so far seems like might be good where it's at. 

 

The lst 3w head is definitely legit though. I would say do like looking down at the deeper face of the stealth plus off the tee as it gives me more comfort going for it without worrying about the sky ball, but sure I'll get used to the shallower face over time as I haven't skied one yet.

I’ve typically played ping fairways and I just tee it up very short, almost like an iron, and hit it as if I would off the turf. 

 

60% of the time it works, every time. 
 

Tried to go back to my Sim2 Ti and now the deeper face just looks weird to me off the turf. Low heel strikes all day

I often don't even tee it up, just puff a little grass up. Seems to work well. Helps that I'm in the Midwest with more lush grass on most courses too.

 

I have 5w and 7ws that are deeper so will just be used to both, don't think will be too bad. No plans to hit the 3w out of rough so not worried about that either.
