New 2023 PING PLD Retail Releases

Anyone know if the PLD Anser D can be built into an armlock configuration from the factory? Seems like you can add +3 degrees of loft to the standard 3 degrees per the website. 6 degrees should be good for an armlock...

I think ping is inclined to do stuff like this if the construction of the head allows for it. They’re awesome about offering custom specs for those who need it! I wouldn’t hold my breath though that a plumbers neck - albeit in their premium materials - would be able to bend that far without breaking it. Definitely call Ping customer support and see what they say! 
 

FYI- this is only advice for a PLD off the rack. I know this is 100% a doable thing for a custom department that can make a custom “armlock” neck.

I've been playing the DS72 since January, and love it - was fitted into it and is my first face-balanced putter. Enjoying the face-balanced abilities in a smaller milled profile.

PLD Anser D

 

Anyone know how much toe hang (in degrees) on this putter?  Only thing I find on search is “slight arc” stroke type.

I didn't measure exactly, but just eyeballing mine from laying it in my palms I'd say probably 30*. It was less hang than the old anser 2 I was gaming, that's for sure

Thanks!  After 3 rounds, this PLD Anser D feels just right for me.

Just measured it and it’s at 37°

D same width but shorter than 2D, 5g lighter.
