I guess I don't really get the point of this post. Gatorade gives him around 100 million and you really thought he wouldn't have a Gatorade bottle of some sort in his hand during a round??? Let's get real now.

It is more than marketing that he drinks it, it has been in stores, and I have tried a few, and his drink is pretty good!

Having him drink it on the course is the marketing. It's no different than the OEM's paying players to use their clubs.

Also, I think most people enjoy gatorade so I don't think it's a big deal although I guarantee he'll be drinking water as well...

hey don't knock tiger. if i was getting paid to sponsor the drink i would drink it...but more to the point I would drink it ANYWAY since he gets it for free and I get thirsty on the course. what better way to quench your thirst than gatorade?

Believe it or not, I have Tiger's water bottle from last year's US Open.

 

He left it on the ground after his time at the practise range. One of the staff picked it up and was about to throw it the can. I chased around the crowd and got the bottle before he threw it in.

 

It'd be nice if I could sell some "Tiger juice" on ebay but I don't think anyone would believe me.

Typically I pick up on all the "racy" stuff. But I'm failing to see anything wrong with Kool Aid statement. Maybe I'm completely oblivious. Could someone PM me and explain why this is racy. I'd rather the explanation not be on the board...but I just want to see what I'm missing. Curiousity killed the cat I guess.

I dunno what's in that stuff but I'd be skeptical that Tiger is taking in large amounts of sugar that's for sure. This guy is very health conscious.

Exactly my point, he probably doesn't drink what we get. What he wants out of the drink will probably not very attractive to the public, because it probably won't taste very well. Therefore, I doubt that he's drink has much sugar as the ones we can get.
