Junior Golf Membership - Chester County - Exton, West Chester, Malvern, Chester Springs Area

Just moved to Exton, PA from Charlotte, North Carolina and I am looking for a junior golf membership nearby (25 years old).  Since I am new to the area, I want to join a private course to meet friends and good golfers.  So far, I have called several courses, including Concord CC, Whitford CC, Radley Run, but I cannot seem to find a course that has a friendly initiation fee (less than 4k).

I would like to find a club that is within 20 mins of driving so I can hit the range or play 9 holes after work.  Can anyone recommend a private course in the area that won’t empty my wallet?

You might have better luck in the Mid-Atlantic sub-forum.  Pennsylvania isn't in New England.

Definitely check the mid-atlantic forum, but French Creek and Penn Oaks might have some low initiation fee options for juniors.  They're a bit further from Exton than Whitford, but should be sub 30 minutes.  I might also ping Applebrook, it is a special place, but they may have a path for you.

 

Lastly, you may want to look at some of the better publics that have memberships.  Glen Mills has a decent range, that's probably 30 minutes from Exton, but also depends on where you're living and your job is
