I play the 7.5 and have never looked back.  Does one offer you better distance control or more confidence from 10ft and in?

Kinda limited on experience with the fastback. Picked is up this winter and just indoor putting. My main gamer last year was m-craft 4.

Note the middle Cameron is an M1. For serious play / competition, the answer is 7.5. From 10’ and under, it’s as close to automatic as I’ve experienced. The reasons are its natural alignment and how it sits on the ground. Beyond 10’, the M1 may have a bit better distance discrimination, mostly because it’s lighter IMO.

I’ve owned and used the M1 for a long time, and would not sell it, but part of that is it is something of a training aid in comparison to the 7.5. The other thing about the M1 is that it’s virtually identical in feel and function in play to far less expensive models, the Cleveland and TM items specifically.

Driver - SIM2 MAX / Ventus Blue 5S

FW - SIM2 MAX / Ventus Blue 6S

Hybrid - SIM2 MAX / Ventus Blue 7S

Irons - ZX5 / C-Taper Lite S

Wedges - SM9 50/08 56/10 60/04

Putter - Odyssey Ai-One Milled #7 T

I have both (among quite a few other putters) and just keep coming back to my T22 Fastback 1.5 as my gamer.  I read from the Edel putter research that round shapes tend to help align more open to a target, while more square shapes and longer alignment lines will help align more closed to the target.  I have trouble aligning too closed, and have found this to be true personally.  I also like the smaller size, I find controlling my pace on lags is a bit easier with a smaller footprint.

My 3rd putter is a MCraft IV honestly that mizuno putter is awesome and is my putter I go to when others I try don’t work out. Wish I could just pick one.

Track the statistic IMO. For league play, for me, the 7.5 makes significantly more putts, mostly from 4-10’.

It’s funny that in some cases, like driver, we tend to be very objective and number-driven, while in others, like balls and putters, it’s more about feel, and objectivity be-damned. My PLD Anser has easily the best feel, and looks the coolest. Sadly it makes less putts 😿.

The only way to know is to get on the course.  I would honestly try to not to switch putters every round.  Give one 2-3 rounds in a row and see how it feels.

It takes me a while to learn how each feel affects distance control.  Especially if you play on different courses each round.  Whichever gives you the most comfort over the ball is your answer.

I want to like the 7.5 more but the Fastback right now keeps feel better and hitting the ball down the line more. Next week I’ll get on the course and give it a try.

I will take your advice to give each putter a few rounds each

Early in hand photos of the new GT2 models t the truck.  As soon as they show up on the range in player's bags we'll get some better from the top photos and hopefully some comparison photos against the last model.
