Bushnell Pro X3 issues?

I do think this is the best range finder.

Bushnell customer service has been fantastic. No hassles on getting the X3 evaluated and new ones shipped.

So while I don't understand the quality issues, it is clear that Bushnell supports their products

Has anybody experienced any issues with the Pro X3 not returning a distance? This is my first rangefinder so I can’t say it wasn’t user error, however I don’t think it was

i bought the x3 and the v6 shift and took them both to the course to compare. The v6 never had any issue, yet when I was shooting the x3, after I turned on the “elements” option it wouldn’t return a distance. I tried mode-ing through all options, turning on/off slope and even leaving it alone for a few minutes, however anytime I aimed it no yardage would be returned. I took out the battery(the included energizer) and put it back in and then it worked again. However after a few minutes more of testing it went through another spell of no yardage being returned.

any ideas? It is a better experience than the v6, albeit they both produced the same results, I just can’t keep the X3 if it isn’t going to work

I just had a member return his pro x3 that wasn't working, they sent him a replacement and the display only shows 2 numbers and those aren't even legible. It will read one digit and one letter. I'm glad I came to this thread to see he's not the only one having this problem. Bushnell's quality control is lacking at the moment. I still have a v3 and it works fine.

This was originally supposed to be included with the X3. They removed the phone app integration for wind and barometric adjustment last minute from their site and instruction manual. 🤬

I had to send mine in a month or so after the initial relase for the same reason, the adjusted number was cut off. Originally the tech stated it was going to get fixed via a software upgrade. I was laughing on the inside at that one, after calling about 2 months later they said that was incorrect and that it was a known faulty issue with earlier units and its screen. Swapped it out for me.
