Grayhawk Black & White Cards

Hey Everyone,

40yr 5hcp Golfer moving to N. Scottsdale later this year. I've seen the Scottsdale private golf membership world is crazy at the moment. Looks like I'll have to play on the public side for a few years and I noticed Grayhawk has their Black and White Cards. How hard is it to get these? Are they lottery based? I saw the cost in 2020 for the black was about 10k for the year, what do they cost now?

I am from Boston I travel to AZ 2-3 times a year and have a WT Card it cost me 1000 this year which got me 2 free rounds and about 50% off rack rate. Last couple years only shot you had was being previous WT and cost has risen alot over the 13 years Ive had but still consider it to be a value to me

Black card is nearly impossible to get.  Long wait list and only a few (low single digits) choose not to renew.  But you need to be 45+ rounds to make black worth it.

 

WT card is hard to get as well.  Most renew (I have one) and if you want one - only a handful go on sale to the public.  But there is a hack.  Find out from one of the pro shop guys when they go on sale -- then on that day show up at the pro shop and buy in person at 6am.  The online sales start at 8am or so - and sell out almost instantly.  But if you wake up early -- you get the worm.
