Lamkin Deep Etched vs Deep Etched Cord

Currently had a deep etched cord on my putter and I absolutely LOVE it.  I tried a few other grips and keep coming back to the Lamkin.  Don't know if it is a familiar thing, but I am going to say that after all these years it is my grip.  Now,  the deep etched cord is black.  Nothing wrong with it, but for some reason I have always like blue putter grips.  Lamkin has a deep etched blue grip non corded version.  

 

Can anyone compare the corded vs non-cord version version of these putters for me?  I like everything about the cord except the black color.  Just wanting to scratch the itch with a blue grip.

Corded is a touch thicker, regular is smaller at least in my hands.

Thanks Matt.  That is what I was kind of worried about as I like the simple air compression install and go with the cord.  No wraps, nothing like that.  I guess i'll have to get to Dicks or something and try them out for myself before I pull the trigger.

It's like a minimal difference for me like 1 wrap feel between cord and non-cord. But for me Cord I can tolerate a bit, non-cord it's an instant rip off for me.

The non cord may be slightly smaller.  The biggest difference to me is the non cord version has much more traction, at least to me.  I had a deep etched cord once and the cords got slick, so I went back to the trusty standard version, which I prefer.

The cord is bigger slightly and also much firmer. Which I prefer. It’s a feel thing really. To me the non cord feels kinda squishy and the shape doesn’t seem as pronounced. Both good grips but completely different feel

Echo the same comments as above.. I built up the non cord with 3 total wraps and it felt a bit firmer but still tacky. Just depends on the feel you want but I really like the DE non cord as one of the only non cord grips I used on my putters.

I'll likely just stick to the black corded one as I like the larger and firmer feel.  No hurry to buy a non corded version one now.
