Rory is back to playing a Scotty Cameron, this time its a custom X5.5

He seems pretty comfortable with it so far, maybe it will finally kick that TM Spider out of the bag.  I know he has had success with it but it looks so awkward in his hands.

It's been mentioned before but when I watch him putt it seems bad green reading is typically the culprit.  I know he's made negative comments about aimpoint in the past but you have to wonder if that could help.

I’ve said it for years, the club isn’t the issue with Rory. He used to hole plenty when younger, so it has to be between the ears particularly when it comes to majors. I don’t think he’ll ever win another major due to pressure, but I hope he proves me wrong

He was 16th in strokes gain putting last season.  Not sure he’ll ever do better than that elite level.  Maybe a different caddie for reads in crucial situations
