Knickerbocker CC - NJ

Does anyone have any membership information on Knickerbocker? Have seen it briefly mentioned quite a bit here, including that they apparently have a pretty affordable junior/executive membership for under 30.

I assume it's a difficult club to get into since their website notes "Information regarding Membership in the Knickerbocker Country Club is available only to individuals sponsored by a current Member." Is it possible to get sponsored by a member if you don't know anyone there? I know other clubs will introduce you to people that could potentially be sponsors, but not sure if that's the case here.

What the website states is a softer way of saying "if you aren't already well acquainted with a current member, forget it."

For anyone ever interested in this club, I spoke to the membership director. She said two sponsors are needed, but the club currently does not do anything to introduce people to members if they don't know anyone. She mentioned that she only recently started working at the club and has been suggesting to the higher-ups that they start holding networking events following the conclusion of this golf season for people that are interested. Sounds like they get a decent amount of calls from people that are interested but don't know any members. Love the course so hoping something like this can happen at some point in the near future

Good luck. I have played the course and it is one of my favorites in NJ. My wife's friend's husband was a member years ago.
