Anyone tried the Mevo's new ability to read non-impact swings for speed training?

I was signed up for the email alert for this functionality being added on the Stack website and never got an alert for some reason.
I see "The Mevo is now capable of Speed Tracking. As of now, Mevo users will need two devices - one to run Mevo and an iOS device to run TheStack App." I assume this means they are working on being able to just use 1 device for the Mevo and Stack? I've reached out to both the Stack and Mevo technical support and awaiting response.

If this works well it would be quite an upgrade from the PRGR. I don't have the space for a Simulator unfortunately so my ideal launch monitor is something I can use on the range and for speed training, whilst not paying a bunch of extra $ for sim courses that I'll never be able to use. The Mevo has been out for awhile now and seems due for an update imo...I'm really hoping manufacturers realize that there is demand for launch monitors that just provide data without all the bells & whistles.

@CelliniEvo Swung SuperSpeed sticks with Mevo+ yesterday and it recorded the swings and they are available on FS Golf app for my iPhone and iPad.

When I’m doing a Stack session, I do not need to run the flightscope app. You simply run the stack app and connect your Mevo to the app. All I need is one iPhone for this.

if you’re just looking to record swing speeds without doing a stack session, you just use the flightscope app. I’m not sure why it’s saying that you would need two devices.

Are you using the basic Mevo or the Mevo+? According to flightscope technical support they haven't rolled out non-impact swings on the Mevo yet? But the Stack's website says they have...Tried reaching out to the Stack customer service last week and haven't heard back.

I have both but I use the Mevo+ with the stack. I haven’t tried the regular Mevo but I can try it out and let you know.

Do you already have the Stack and/or the Mevo?

Thanks! Would love to hear your feedback on the readings you get with the basic Mevo.
I have the Stack and a PRGR that I’m thinking of returning and getting the Mevo if it gets accurate non-impact readings and is simple enough to use for speed training.
