Why all of sudden can't I change the size of my typing and the ability to change colors of my type is gone?

I used to be able to at any time change the size of my type and also add colors by adjusting from the top bar.

 

I see with this post I am able to it, but on the other threads that I am a regular contributor in a few days ago I have not been able to do so.  Did I inadvertently changed some setting that I was unaware of?

Hey there Commish,

 

You probably changed your screen size/resolution.

 

Holding down the Ctrl/cmd key and then hitting + (plus) makes the screen (type) larger.

 

Ctrl/cmd and then hitting the - (minus) key makes it smaller.

 

Several settings, such as color, font size, font & "strikethrough", won't show if the screen size is "too large". Make it a bit smaller and they appear. After you make your post you can go larger again.

Perfect, I am fixed ! That did the trick. My screen size was at 110%. I am often times changing the size of my type so I know now what's up. This 62 year old who knows little about computers thanks you. 👍
