YAMAHA RMX VD/R IRONS

Just wondering if anyone has actually hit these and can tell me if they perform well. There was certainly a very big market hype about the launch of the new RMX VD range of drivers irons and wedges at the end of last year. These irons come standard in the TTDG S200 weight lock tech which I have heard is awesome match for these irons. Seriously considering getting the while rmx vd line up including Yamaha tour rmx red bag...but as always living in England will have to pay extra import duties and taxes as we have no Yamaha supplier here. Sad for such a great golf company. I currently game the 2014 RMX INPRES TOURMODEL BLADE IRONS AND WOW!!!!

Forums at tsg that was a great source of feedback is dead...so getting feedback on your question is almost impossible. Usa distrubution of yamaha doesnt have those models  for sale in states, maybe later in year. I have spoke to the distributor and she said fourteen is by far the biggest market they sell in states. So, getting info on jdm yamaha will be next to impossible

Not true! Mine just arrived today 😄 

I've hit prior model VD Tours and they were very soft. Surely attributed to the slow annealing process used. Other than that, they're solid irons but that's how I feel about majority of clubs I've hit so take it with a grain of salt. VDR have a little bit nicer shape that VD Tour

Just spoke to May, very smart lady at distributor. Fourteen tc 5 and tc 7 are biggest sellers in usa market for men. Yamaha vd irons 2024 aren't avail here...u can get them at tsg, Japan and other avenues. However, with so many options avail already nobody cares. By the way, tc 5 and tc 7 are endo....im done on this topic.

I just had a chance to hit them, but I ordered them with AMT White shafts. Same great feel as previous gen RMX VD Tours, very soft. And like I said in my previous post, slightly different shape. Toe is more rounded. If that suits you then go for it.
