"Thud" "thwack" "solid" sounding fairway woods?

Cobra LTDx LS 5 wood is as good as it gets. I have it turned down 1* to play 16.5* (4 wood). Its got the looks, the sound, the feel, and I'd put it up against anything out there performance wise.

I bought a Maltby KE4 TC 4W (16*). This has one of the nicest dull "THUD" I've ever heard in a FW. I've also bought the Maltby KE4 TC HyWay (21* UW). The new KE4 TC Pro - IST adjustable FW comes in a 7W but I haven't hit them yet.

Remove the weight in the bottom of the club and shove about 6 cotton balls in the hole using a needle, toothpick, etc. You'll get the solid thwack you're looking for for about 6 cents.

Sim2 Ti fw woods has that solid sound off the face. Still haven't found a hotter face than the one I have in all the new models

Original Cobra LTD woods have a nice solid thwack sound to em. Powerful feeling off the face too

I still play a Cobra F8+ 16-19* wood that I would describe as super solid and thwacky. Like a wood bat. I have to limit swings with it at the range—it feels and sounds so good (and the flight is so pleasing to my eye); it’s addictive.

But I’ve not swung anything newer in fairways.

TSi3 has a nice thwack, haven’t hit anything newer.

Ive heard about this!! Does it really work? Do the balls like... jiggle around in there?

You have to basically pull the cotton balls apart to get them to go into a tiny hole. But it does work, and you absolutely cannot feel any movement in there.
