Tensei AV Blue iron shafts

I’m looking for real-world feedback from anyone playing Tensei AV Blue iron shafts.  How do they perform; and what other graphite shafts are they similar to?  I see a lot on this shaft in drivers, fairways, and hybrids, but little/nothing in irons.  Thanks!

I tried them in some Titleist irons in the past.

I thought they felt really good. I didn't have the irons long, and I have not played many graphite shafts in irons much, so I can't give you a comparison.

They gave a nice high flight, and seemed pretty stable.

 

I believe these are proprietary shafts for OEM's. Titleist and Callaway, I believe, have their own versions, from what I can gather.

Don't think that they are proprietary, they are on the Mitsubishi website.  Titleist has offered them for a while, but other OEMS just don't offer.  There is a White, Blue, and Red version.  Low, mid, high to put it basically.  I'd like to try them also, I love the wood shafts.

I have seen them on their website as well.

 

 I say the are proprietary because, as in Callaway's case anyway, the specs do not match what is on MCA's website. I have never seen these iron shafts for purchase on any golf website. Also, MCA lists other "made for" shafts in their listings, that are only offered from certain OEM's.

They are fine shafts for the right swing.  Can't buy them new without buying Titleist heads, but maybe off the secondary used market.  Last I knew, Titleist bought out the Tensei AV Blue, Red and White inventory.  

 

Back in 2021 I ordered a set of AV Blue stiff in T100S irons.  The AV blue weight range is 70g - 88g, too light for me.    Played the Blue for 3–4 months before having them pulled.  In that weight range, there are a number of viable graphite shafts, only not AM weighted but fixed weight, and less costly.  I like Tensei and MMT because they include SS.
