sharpie vs gcquad lie angle difference

haven't tested my lie angles in awhile, does this seem about right? 5 degrees toe down seems very excessive, but the sharpie line doesn't seem that far off from what google images show from lie angle sharpie tests, not familiar with how to match results, does this seem ok?

I would trust the line, but the tilt of that line is probably around 2* toe down at impact. However, that doesn’t necessarily mean you need to adjust your iron. If your ball flight is good, let it alone.

Ball flight is good, worrried about bad impact due to turf interaction of toe is hitting too soon, so yea I’ll leave it alone if it’s only like two

Sorry but I believe you're interpreting it incorrectly.  That pix of the OP is representative of maybe 1/2* to 1*  flat .    The lie angle does not match the actual angle of the sharpie mark.  It' takes almost a 10* tilt for the sharpie mark to represent 1* for the lie angle.

Ball flight is the most important factor. If the start line and shape is what you want, you’re good.

If the toe being down is affecting your impact because of turf interaction, then you're hitting it really fat and you have bigger things to worry about than your lie angle.
