I did notice that there is alot of 'not stock elsewhere but stock in japan' shelf options for drivers.

The callaway Legacy driver was in the stand with i think 4 different shafts in 9.5 Stiff...all slighlty different prices but to be able to justify having 4 of each with different lofts and flexes turns into alot of drivers very quick....makes me think they have a very good stock turnover.

Haha gees you look like a big boy in that photo Teeituphigh hahahaha..

That picture at the range was right before you whipped one sideways :P

I think we are going back there next week to! Went to Ueno today and had a bit of a look round, wish i could still play golf over here.

You know how you thought it was hot when you were here, trying adding another maybe 10 degrees to that then we'll talk haha.

Japan Represent!

Haha, you smart mouth punk. The earth rotates a different way up there and it threw my equilibrium out!

Now do i need to remind you of my last shot in Japan????

Does anyone know where I can buy the pink Callaway staff bag shown in the OP's original post? I made the mistake of showing it to my wife and she fell in love with it. I've found every other version of the bag except the pink one... please HELP! Thanks!

BTW, great pics! The Japan market bags, shoes, etc. are so much nicer than the US domestic ones!

That is MOMOKO UEDA's bag = MOMO in Japanese also means the colour PINK.

I don't know if you can order from Rakuten if you're outside of Japan, however. May be you can track somebody down on EBay who can get it for you for international distribution.

Not the same bag, but thanks! The one in the link is the "pale pink" which is pretty ugly compared with the one in the OP's picture.

Victoria Golf in Shinjuku has a few staff who speak English now and then. They have a fantastic selection of clubs, but limited space.

Also, if you email the guys at Tourspecgolf, they might (I am not sure) be able to set you up with a fitting, and then you could order some clubs via T and Chris.

EDIT - which cities are you going to visit? That might help people offer a few more suggestions.

How do the Japanese crowd view the US gear? Is there some sort of weird inverse relationship... where we want all their gear and they want all ours?[/quote]

My wife works for a Japanese company here in Socal and we play with a couple of the guys from Japan. I asked them about Japanese gear and they said we like the American gear better. Both have TM woods and Callaway irons.

Just a thought but maybe those are Japanese Spec TM and Callaway clubs.....both OEMs have very unique offerings in Asia...

Btw, it's mostly made in China anyways these days....

Those 2 gentlemen make up a very small percentage of Japanese golfers. The majority prefer Japanese made products.
