95 mph driver ss

what advantage could i see from a stock 08 tm fuji burner reg shaft vs any aftermarket, i fit the reg. this time, im always between flexes. i trade drivers to often, always looking for more of something. repeating same actions expecting different results :swoon2: about 5yrs ago i tried reshafting and never noticed much more than a lighter wallet. i like 60-65 gram tip soft 45". i was told at my s.s. i might not benifit from top line shafts because oems are pretty good now. im also fairly consistant straight ball to small fade player single digit. any info please, im in the middle of ks. not exactly the golf mecca.

You probably want to jump on a launch monitor and post the results. It's the stock response, but it'll help people recommend shafts for you.

ive been on launch monitors many times, went to hot stix fitting, bought a set of woods 3yrs ago. before that i tried several different recomended combos off l. m. #s and nothing was ever noticeably better than hitting demos and buying what felt and seemed to work best. ive been on the wagon so to speak on reshafting since, has ther been any major improvements to shafts since then. i know i can find someone to say you might try this or that but is there anything or any reason to believe i can do much better than the stock tm fuji reg. shaft. i guess what im asking is at 50yrs old swinging at 95mph am i expecting to much with limited clubhead speed. i around 250yds fairly straight

As stated earlier, posting launch numbers is the only way to truly answer your question. Any other advice that you receive is going to be guesswork based on the information you provided in your original post.

That said, if you were to optimize your 95 mph swing speed (i.e launch angle, ball speed, spin rates, etc.) you can expect to see approximately 260 yds total distance. So, you'll have to be the judge if it's worth the time and effort to gain an extra 10 yds.

No diff .. for that kind of swing speed. Agreed OEM is pretty good. Just find a driver that fits you off the shelf.. a fader.. get a draw head. a hooker get a fade head. too much spin get a low spin head. far more effective. If serious get a titleist.

cause they give the head to say fuji or mitsubishi and say, there , make a suitable shaft for this head. And they make it lighter , longer and more manageable. and each model have a target group.. dont have to be more complicated I think.

but .. always fun to mess around ... anyway.
