handicap question

technically shot my first 72 :P

so i had the round of my life todai! my former best was 77 from the tips. i played the one ups at a different course to prepare myself for my PAT and shot a 73! so my question is because i DID get a triple, i should be entering this into my handicap as a 72 rite?! should i feel guilty that i got my first even par round because of an adjusted score? lol :rolleyes:

First congrats on the personal best, and you should enter it for hndcp purposes as a 72. Not to burst your bubble but if I were you I would not count that as your first 72 since you actually shot a 73.

You shot 73, but you got your first 72 ESC score.

haha opps. i was overly excited lol. the slope and rating is 70.1/119. my target will probably be to give myself some breathing room from the first round so the 73 is a good start. too bad i went out todai and blew up and shot a 88 :rolleyes: heat exhaustion really got to me todai. not to mention if anyones played orange county national, the course eats me alive lol

Not to threadjack, but I'll be playing at OCN next week with a group. We play every sumer and the try to arrange it around the aeration of the greens. I know they punched Croocked Cat July 28 and will be punching Panther Lake Friday.

 

What course did you play and did the greens appear to be coming in on CC?

Played OCN in March and could not believe that there was not 1 pond left on the courses. I hope for their sake they had 40 days and 40 nights of rain.

i played CC. greens were punched but they're coming around nicely. id give it another week though.

Great thanks. I look forward to playing CC next weekend, hopefully it will cool down alittle before then. Yesterday it heard it was 96 and dew point was at 75, felt like 110.

 

I could feel my energy melting away by the back nine.

played front 9 at panther today too. panthers greens are better rite not but CC will be really good in a week or so!
