Do you think any of the TOUR guys read golfwrx?

I know one thing, Sergio Garcia would not like to see some of the things being written about him on Golf forums these days. I've seen him slammed here, on the golfchannel board, and even on the BBC golf forum. I never liked him much, because he seemed so arrogant after the way he ran after his shot while losing to Tiger in the PGA at Medinah, and by the way the media propped him up as the next great thing, but I would feel bad for him if he read some of the things people are saying about him on the message boards after his repeated Sunday collapses and bad play at the start of this season.

But then again, why should I feel bad for him? He may not be able to win a major and may be a choke artist, but he still has millions of dollars and beautiful women.

For what it's worth, you guys don't really know who I am. ;) Most think I'm a 62 year old guy with a 13.6 Index who lives a quiet life and is addicted to the Golfwrx site and drives the ball 235 yards and spend quite a bit of time in the Chatroom. :drinks:

For you information, I hit the ball closer to 237 yards, I am 63, and my Index is closer to 14 and I don't spend over 8 hours a day in the Chatroom, and I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night too.

For the life of me, I can't see what's so hard to believe of guys who are pros spending time on Golfwrx. I mean they are people too, they enjoy a good laugh once in awhile too, why is it so hard to believe that all types of people from all aspects of life spend their time over here doing the exact same things we do over here. Just hanging out, having a few laughs, looking at what all others are doing, what they are playing and "BRAGGING" about it, I mean, that's the fun of Golfwrx, to have fun and relax, AND! to learn a few things in the process.

I always suspected YOU were somebody! Heck I might even turn out to be somebody but I doubt it.

ChrisBarayla: I hate when that kind of stuff happens, you would think they could at least spell your name correctly!

I agree with a lot of the posts about OEM's having somebody lurking here, just makes to much sense from a marketing standpoint. Heck some of the members here spend more on equipment in a year than the entire advertising budget of some manufacturers so why wouldn't they pay attention. We may be equipment junkies but we do know what works for us and why and like to share that information. Heck I've even read complete sentences with, like, a subject,verb,couple of adjectives and, if I remember correctly, an adverb or two, so that the information shared is clear, concise, and understandable. What better source of information about a LOT of product is available at this price? Plus they get to sit around in their underwear, quaffing a little something in a brandy snifter, listening to something not to distracting like shopping music, as they prepare to rest weary bones after another day in the trenches fighting the never ending EQUIPMENT WARS! Can you think of a better way to end the day, I mean besides porn?

I been a noticing them there sentences that some of our youtths helpt built on hear. And some is real good two.

Question? Do you picture those pros and reps in boxers or brief. The distance some of those pros hit the ball, I'm sure they wear briefz but then again, to get their swingz moving, they might have to wear boxers just for timing.

Eric, I've just received a new CD with a collection of those "Famous Oldies Elevator music of the 60's and 70's" talk about kool! Hell, you can waltz, foxtrott or sleep to this stuff, I mean like it's really freknegruven man. :drinks:

Boxers Mac strictly boxers as no one can relax properly and get in the occasionaly healthy scratch in briefs. As for the new CD you'll have to burn me a copy so I can listen to it on those days I go to work. Nothing like a relaxing snooze cruising the freeway betwixt Janesville and Madison about 9:30PM with the stars and moon softly lighting up the night sky.

Sergio has started out the season very well. He has a couple of top 10's and has played pretty well except for Sunday at the Buick. He had maybe one of the most dangerous shots at the PGA, it could've seriously injured him. I think the majority of us would do the same thing if we saw the ball go towards the green from that deadly spot. Sergio's time will come, he'll win majors.

I too read TJ's posts and thought he sounded like a nice guy which surprised me because on the show I thought he had an attitude problem and was the most annoying contestant since Don Donatello who just came across as a total a-hole.

I know this post isn't about BB4 but I just have one more thing to say about how unfair it was that the Europeans comletely outplayed the USA all the way until the USA only had 2 left and Europe still had 4 or 5 they made Europe play eachother until there were only 2! Giving the final 2 USA's a couple of free weeks and guaranteed final action. If they had just made USA's play against the europeans right to the end I reckon there would have been 3 Euros in the final 4 and a Euro would definately have won. Probably either Thomas or the Ginger guy (can't remember his name)

^^Two quick points:

1. The show was called "USA vs. Europe". It was always set up to be one American vs one European.

2. The show is produced for an American golf channel, whose market and ratings numbers come from the United States. Do you think anyone in the States would be watching a bloke from England and a guy from Sweden playing in the final?

It's a made-for-tv event, there's a certain amount of unfairness built in.

I can confirm that at least 4 european tour players visit the website and one of them's even changed his putter because of one he saw on here.

I've played european challenge tour events, does that count?

I agree it was unfair, but I don't agree that TGC wouldn't allow a European player to win. If that got out, the show would lose all credibility, and I'm sure the TOUR and Bridgestone would drop their sponsorships.

If I remember right these guys aren't gone for months doing this competition. I believe it's over the whole show is taped over the courese course of two to three weeks.
