Titleist stuff...

No room for hybrids here.
I love long irons. Note the "not-dot" 2-iron.

Fairway shaft is grafally stiff - works for me...

I still prefer this 3-wood compared to the newer offerings. Lovely feel off the face.

Old, but still keeps up with the new boys.

Driver hozel

Driver shaft specs. It's a 66g V2.

The classic head shape of the 905

I use a bog standard black nickel 54* vokey. Notice how slim the sole is - like the 690 PW.

Don't be fooled by the numbers - it's actually bent to 59* and hand ground how I like it...
Similar to other grinds I suppose...

This is what I call the "seaside grind". Basically my personal grind to help playability from firm, tight links course...

Narrow sole and trailing edge relief. Excellent bunker club.

Nice headcover.

The favourite putter at the moment. Sticking with it for the foreseeable future.

Notice the dent? Dropped it by accident. D'oh!

One thing I always carry in my bag. A purse for valuables. Why? My daughter made it for me. Everybody say ahhh...

Every bag should have a lucky charm. This is mine - an old Titleist pro traj in 1.62 inch.

This is how I mark the pro V's. Takes ages!

The bag - s82 staff. Just the job.

My 3 wedge system. 48-54-59. No need for a gap W. Works for me....

Very nice bag. Not sure why you like the cameron pitch repairer, they look great but they are rubbish at doing what they're designed for. Just my opinion.

Some of best stuff Titleist has ever made. I have played everything you have there aside from the special ground wedges and if I still had time to practice I would still be using it. The 690ms's are the best irons I have ever hit ... although I am sure if I had a go with that 2 iron I would say something different :swoon2: . I owned a few 905T's with different shafts and I wish some of them were still in the bag.

I like Titleist, so that bag is in no way boring at all to me.

The black nickel is surprising soft and easy the shape - the main reason I chose it. Also, the metal doesn't rust so you get a nice clean finish. They are also widely available and pretty cheap in the second hand market - so an ideal choice to eperiment with!

 

Black nickel is the finish over the carbon steel, so it should rust eventually

Can't fault you with the Mil Spec mate - a putter that, over the last 3 or 4 years, would be about neck and neck with the old faithful Anser 2 for cumulative bag time in my own case.

 

Fredo's a master stroke. I dipped into my stash of a bakers' dozen of Ping covers and went with pink for today's round, along with a blast from the a past in the form of Sandy/Tom - an old Ping Pal; not the warbling Scottish songstress from Aberdeen, but a 25 year old Ping Pal as used in the murky past by a couple of handy players.

 

Nice bit of fettling on that lob wedge too.

Beauty set of clubs man, love that driver. I really want a set of those irons or at least 680's, im hoping ill get some for cheep when i got to Myrtle Beach in April. With that deuce, whats the difference if its dot or not?

Not a lot. It's 1/4 inch shorter than the dot version and 1 degree flatter. The other specs like loft and bounce are the same. I picked up the 'not dot' separately to the rest of the set, I still had a 990 2-iron when fitted. I just simply tweaked it to match the set.

Good old Bob. No sooner than I've ground a wedge to my liking, he goes and makes one even better. The new oil can 58/08 is just the ticket. Initial testing has led to the purchase of this superb wedge. Softer than my current black nickel, better looking ( obvious) and a sole grind that is very versatile. Straight in the bag.

Love the new Vokey mate. I received mine Saturday morning, exactly the same spec, 58/08 (also ordered the 54 but the bounce was wrong s that's gone back) but in the oil can finish. The grind looks amazing, and I particularly like the fact that the loft is on the angle do to the grind. Yet to hit mine as I'm playing in St. Andrews tomorrow so I'm sticking with the old trusties for this week and hopefully the 54 will be here soon enough. Will post some pictures of mine when it arrives. Great set-up again.

lovin the sticks man. I always go back to my old 980f 15* it is a sweet club and just as good as the new ones i just opted for something a little more forgiving. but I always seem to play it in tournaments because of all the confidence ive put in it over the past 4 or 5 years

We have nearly the exact same bag.

 

My favorite Titleist driver of the last few years has been the 905T, I still game the 980F 3 wood and 5 wood, I play 690.MB's, and I recently switched from an Itsy Bitsy to a Ping Anser 2 black dot Karsten...except that mine has the blackout grip.

 

Wow. I thought you stole my clubs for a moment!
