Putter Regripping

So I got my White Hot XG #9 regripped three weeks ago, and I am actually slightly disappointed in my grip choice. I got the Winn Midsize Pistol grip I believe, and it's just too big. Yeah, it does stabilize my wrists a lot, but I just feel that I can't drop those 5-10 footers because I lost that feel that I had with my stock grip. Anyways, I think that I am a thin grip guy, and am probably going to go back to a thinner grip. I'm edging towards the Pingman grip, which seems to be a solid grip that will give me instant feedback on those mid-ranged putts. What's your opinion? Any recommendations on thinner grips that will truly help me gain that confidence on the short/mid ranged putts would be great. Thanks a lot!!

The PING and standard Cameron grips are just a little too small for me, but i've found the Lamkin Crossline Paddle grip to be a perfect fit. It's a little lighter than the Winn you have and it's core size is .010 thinner. It's about the same size as the Ping Blackout i think, but it feels better in my hands, the shape seems a more natural fit.

The Pingman really is a good grip. I was skeptical when I first got one and thought they were popular only because Tiger plays one, but as far as thin grips go, they really are superior to other thin, smooth, traditional rubber grips. The shape is smooth, but they're just tackier than, for example, the Cameron Studio (dancing) grips. With how recognizable Tiger's Ping grip has become, I'm really surprised Ping doesn't put the Pingman grip on any of its putters at retail . . . people are always going after-market to get them! I haven't tried an Iomic, but I hear they're like a Pingman, only tackier.

Personally, I don't like thin grips, so I play a Lamkin Crossline Paddle (or on my Camerons a Titleist Baby T, which is pretty slick and I'm disappointed with, but I like having a Cameron grip anyway).

I'm a convert to Iomic grips. Even though I have big hands, I prefer the regular sized to the mid-sized; I felt like the feedback from the midsized was not as good as it was with the thinner grip. The feel of the grip itself is very unique. The closest comparison is the Pingman (or SC Studio Design), but those grips always felt very dry and chalky to me. The Iomic is pretty much perfect, IMO.

Well after the replys supporting the Iomic and Pingman grips, I think I have made my decision. I am going to stick with my Winn Midsize for at least 10 more rounds, and decide if I am ready to upgrade, or stick with the Midsize. If I choose to change, sounds like the Iomic is the way to go. Similar to the Pingman just a tad better. Only question is, standard or midsize Iomic grip, since I hear they run very small. Thanks for all the replys, and more would be greatly appreciated!
